Excellent home garden variety. Vigorous bushy 15"-20" dwarf plants. Tightly packed pods with 6-7 medium sized dark green peas when mature. Plants produce mostly double borne pods of fine quality peas. This heirloom variety produces high yields.
Culture: Sow as early in spring as ground can be worked. Sow again in midsummer for smaller fall crop. Prefers cool weather.
Tip: Trellis between two rows.
Harvest: 65-85 days.
Suggestion: Shell and cook, combine with vegetables, can or freeze.
