Popular and easy to grow annual that develops into an attractive bushy plant 1.5-2' tall (46-60 cm.). Heirloom variety.
Culture: Plant in well drained soil. Avoid over watering. Excellent pot-grown indoors.
Harvest: Pick leaves when young, pinch top flowers off as they open to prevent the taste of leaves from getting bitter.
Uses: Aromatic leaves have a spicy clover-like flavor when pulverized. Popular in tomato dishes, soups, stews, spaghetti, fish, poultry, and salads. Used in potpourri.
