Crown of Thorns makes an excellent choice for low water landscaping. Being drought and salt tolerant also makes it ideal for waterfront properties. It blooms frequently throughout the year and does great in full sun. Make sure to protect it during especially cold weather. Just watch out for the spines along its stem!
