Plants bear delicate and graceful 1.5-4" (4-10 cm) flowers in a wide range of colors that will complement any garden. Ideal in beds, borders, rock gardens, and in "wild" gardens. The distinctive flowers are popular in arrangements. Delicate, intricate nodding or upright blooms end in spurs. The foliage is attractive for many weeks after flowers are gone.
Culture: Seeds directly sown in spring produce flowers the following year. Seed started indoors should be transplanted in well drained, humusy moist soil in partial shade. Will tolerate some sum if moisture is maintained. Self sows vigorously.
