Medium green, broad flat 5.5" (14 cm) pods. These Italian snap beans grow and produce an abundant yield of delicious and tender beans on low spreading plants. Heirloom variety.
Culture: Any good well drained soil with a pH above 6 will grow beans. Beans do not tolerate cool wet soil. After soil reaches at least 50℉, sow seed 4" (10 cm) apart, 1" (2.5 cm) deep in rows 24"-36" (60-90 cm) apart. Thinning is not necessary. For continuous supply, plant every 3 weeks until July 15th.
Harvest: Maturity 55 days. Pick regularly when young to encourage new pod set.
Nutrition: Good source of protein, dietary fiber, vitamins A and C.
