Easy to grow and very hardy; superb border flower that thrives even in the hot south. Yellow-gold daisies with a raised black center grow on 18" to 30" stems. Biennial or perennial, it blooms the second year after seeding, from August to October. Heirloom variety.
Culture: Plant when ground is workable in early spring. Till soil and rake smooth. Broadcast seeds evenly and tamp down. Water with fine spray and maintain moisture until seedlings are established. Flower heads may be left to ripen for birds or to reseed. Heirloom variety.
