Sweet frying pepper - a must in many Mediterranean dishes. Yellowish-green fruits 5"-6" (12.5-15 cm) x 1.5" (6.25 cm), smooth, wide at the shoulder, tapered to blunt ends. Considered mildly pungent - medium thick waxy flesh. Fruits grow on 28"-30" (70-75 cm) bushy plants. Everbearing. Heirloom variety.
Culture: Sow seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Grow in full sun and keep soil temperature in the mid-70s, spade or till soil one foot deep (30 cm). Transplant to garden 2-3 weeks after last frost. Water regularly and fertilize when plants are 6" (15 cm) tall and again in mid-summer.
Harvest: Carefully cut fruit from plants when full size whether green or red, but before they begin to soften.
