The brilliant orange-yellow flowers are delightfully fragrant and are freely produced during late spring and early summer on branching, bright green plants. May bloom the first year in 5-6 months. Lovely in beds, borders, rock gardens, and pots. Delightful in bouquets. The scent is of cloves and lilies.
Culture: In moist cool climates, the wallflower is perennial. Where summers are hot, handle as an annual. You can plant seed in summer for next spring bloom. Likes a semi-sunny location, with ordinary, well drained, rather alkaline soil.
